The Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Charis Congregation, New Fadama was founded by the Kaneshie PCG Bible Study and Prayer Group on the 18th of July 1982. The BSPG team that founded the now Charis congregation was led by Mr. Daniel Nyarko, now a minister of the PCG, Messrs. Emmanuel Owusu-Asare, Joseph Osei-Bonsu, Owusu Agyemang, Opoku Minta, Ms. Leticia Omari, and Ms. Grace Ohenewa.
